 Looking for Event Planning Help
? Planning can be incredibly stressful if you're under a budget constraint, time
constraint, space restraint... Actually there are always constraints. Here are a couple
of things you might want to think about before you get going:
Space - How much do you have? Will you be indoors or
outdoors? If you're outdoors, do you have plans for rain?
Crowd - Are you inviting a few for a backyard event? Or are you
have a large party for a graduation, holiday or celebration. Do you want seating for
everyone? If outside, should you consider a tent over the seating area? What about your
guests - do you need entertainment for adults, teens, children - or all three?
Theme - This can make an event a whole lot of fun! Our event
planners can help you with this one. How about a western theme with a mechanical bull, rodeo
roper and relay horses? Or how about a surfing theme with a mechanical surfboard, volleyball
& Beach Boys music? Younger children enjoy carnivals with games, prizes and
moonbounces. (And, of course we'll help you with the prizes) Or how about
something really unique - panning for gemstones! This activity is fun and educational, works
for all ages and everyone loves it!
 Once you know your party size, type
of guests, location and theme, we're back to space again. If you want interactive games,
you'll need power for every blower. All inflatables are run by continuous blowers.
Each blower requires a separate 20 amp circuit - remember, EACH blower. If you have fun
foods like popcorn, cotton candy, etc, they'll require power also.

When you're doing a layout, keep in mind space requirements for games, seating, food service
area & anything else you might have. Also, remember that everything will need to be
placed on a flat surface and the space will need to be easily accessible from the street.
Doors need to be wide enough for large deliveries. If you only have a single door into a
building, we need to measure to make sure everything you want will fit through the door.
 Food - You need to
decide how much you want to do. Do you need a caterer? We can help if you need
one. If you're planning to do the food yourself, keep it simple. Try to
prepare as much as you can ahead of time. What good is a party if you're too busy to enjoy
it?
These are just a few of the things you'll need to think about. Then there are
invitations, music and all the little things that tend to intrude into your plans.
But...if you've started with a firm plan, everything should be fine. The problems we see
the most are usually power issues, or accessibility issues.
 Post Prom's,
Lock-in's, Grad Nights are all special types of events that require a little more planning
to coordinate delivery and pick-ups. Since so many of these type of events tend to
be held at the same time, it's important that we all communicate so that one event doesn't
hold up the next one. But these events tend to be themed - and they're SO MUCH
FUN! We'll always work with you to make things go as smoothly as possible.
Festivals are HUGE fun! And we love to help with them. You can call at any time
